Withstanding harsh environments, while sealing fuel, air, coolant, and oil, is the challenging task for intake manifold gaskets. It is critical that the molded rubber sealing areas of these gaskets resist all the possible fuels, coolants and oil formulations that may be used. Victor Reinz engineers have utilized only premium grade FKM synthetic rubber.
