We want to make sure every customer has a smooth experience, and that means being upfront about California emissions regulations. Some of the performance parts we carry are governed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), so please take a moment to read through this page before placing your order.

What Are Non-CARB Products?

Some products on our site haven't received CARB approval, which means they're not street-legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California. These parts are built for off-road, track, or competition use, and they're awesome for that purpose! Just be sure to check the product description so you know what you're getting.

Shipping to California

To stay compliant with state law, we're unable to ship non-CARB-approved products to California addresses. If your order includes one of these products and is headed to a CA address, we may need to cancel or adjust your order. We'll always do our best to reach out if that happens.

Know Before You Buy

We want you to feel confident in every purchase. Before ordering, please make sure the product is legal for your intended use and location, it's ultimately the buyer's responsibility to verify this. By placing an order with us, you're confirming that you:

• Understand the product is not CARB-approved unless the listing specifically says so.
• Are not buying it for use on an emissions-controlled vehicle in California.
• Take responsibility for following all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Agree to hold FR Sport harmless from any issues related to the purchase, installation, or use of the product.

Keeping Things Honest

We take compliance seriously to protect both our customers and our business. If we detect an attempt to work around shipping restrictions, like using a freight forwarder or providing a false address, we may need to cancel the order or take further action. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The Fine Print (Legal References)

This policy is based on the following California regulations:

California Vehicle Code § 27156
Prohibits the sale or installation of aftermarket parts that modify or bypass emission control systems unless exempted by CARB.

Title 13, California Code of Regulations (CCR) § 2222
Requires a CARB Executive Order (EO) for aftermarket parts to be legally sold or installed on emissions-controlled vehicles.
