The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (Evo X) is easily one of the most popular and most modified vehicles on the market today. Realizing there are a number of systems available to Evo X owners, Thermal R&D Exhaust set out to separate ourselves from the
competition. This resulted in the introduction of Thermal R&D's high end TIG-welded system which features superior sound and technology. The 2.0 liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder produces an aggressive
sound when matched with the 3" catback exhaust. Adding straight-through sound absorbing canisters and mid-resonator, we achieved our goal of having aggressive sound with muted drone. The catback
exhaust is made to fit up to our optional 3" down pipe for owners looking for a comprehensive 3" turbo-back exhaust. The Thermal R&D system is finished off with 4.5" angle cut tips that fit perfectly into the Evo's signature rear bumper.
