These kits ensure that the time-consuming water pump repair is performed in a single effort, eliminating the possibility of a repeat repair. Replacing all related cooling system components at a suggested interval of 80,000 miles on this complicated engine platform and performing a proper coolant flush at the same time will ensure longevity of the system.
