Call Sales! The kit is designed to wire the power system of a race/performance car with the battery located in the rear / trunk passenger side of the vehicle (to offset the weight of the driver). The kit is made up of several sub-harnesses to allow for the ideal connection of power in the chassis of a sports vehicle, supplying power from the battery to the PDM and starter/alternator of the specific application. See the diagram picture below for more details. Optimize power delivery for total confidence Properly AWG sized power wires Heavy Duty Ring Terminals crimped on securely 200 Amp Circuit Breaker protection included Firewall Bulkhead for easy firewall pass-through for the battery cable This kit is intended to be used with the Wiring Specialties Chassis Harness & PDM Unit, but can be used with other brands, for example using an ARC panel with the ECU Master PDU. Part A - Battery Negative to Chassis Ground Cable - 24-inch length Connect between the battery's negative terminal and a bolt on the chassis Part B - Battery Positive to Circuit Breaker Cable - 15-inch length Connect between the battery's positive terminal and the "BAT" side of the circuit breaker Part C - Circuit Breaker to Firewall Cable - 150-inch length Connect between the circuit breaker's "AUX" terminal and the interior side of the firewall/ bulkhead pass through. This is the longest portion. Part D - Firewall to PDM (Optional) - 22-inch length If using a PDM (Power Distribution Module) or any other kind of solid state or switching fusebox, connect this cable between the interior side of the firewall/ bulkhead pass through and the terminal on the PDM/ fusebox. Part E - Firewall to Starter (2 Lengths Included - 24-inch & 45-inch) Connect between the engine bay side of the firewall/ bulkhead pass through and the engine's starter terminal. This should be connected to the battery connection of the starter, and NOT the starter solenoid connection. There are two lengths of cable available for this section, and both are shipped. Use only one. Part F - Starter to Alternator (3 Lengths Included - 15-inch, 24-inch & 38-inch) Connect between the engine's starter battery connection used in Part E and the engine's alternator battery connection. This is commonly called a Charge Cable. There are three lengths of cable available, and all three are shipped. Use only one. ***NOTE: For racing applications where a battery cutoff switch must be used, this section must be omitted. Instead, the alternator's battery terminal must be connected to the battery side of the battery cutoff switch.
