This intake represents true race-inspired technology. The intake housing and top is constructed from fully fabricated black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum for light weight and maximum flow. The CAD designed intake tubes are engineered for maximum flow, velocity and strength. This system utilizes a huge 6" Pro DRY S performance air filter which is construced of 3-layers of progressive finer porosity synthetic media providing maximum convenience with 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. All aFe intakes come complete with housing, tube, filter and all hardware necessary for an easy installation.

In recent testing this intake produced an astounding 15 hp and 13 lbs. x ft. of torque while outflowing the factory intake. aFe engineers also tested the on-road intake temperature of this intake compared to the factory intake. The aFe intake had a lower intake temperature than stock. See below for chart.
