• you need to send in your PCM for us to flash or purchase one from us by selecting ADD PCM in the first option to the right. No software is provided. ** GM LS3 E38 PCMs require basic tuning in order to run the LS3 engine in a different chassis such as the 240sx, 300zx, Datsun etc. The VATS alarm or Immobilizer will prevent the engine from starting unless it is disabled. We also disable the rear O2 sensors, fuel tank purge EVAP and EGR operation, as those are rarely used in swaps. The standard base startup tune is VATS / EVAP / Rear O2 / Tank Purge removal. Most tunes leave the other parameters stock. No performance settings are changed with this startup tune. Performance settings like fuel maps are NOT part of this service. Dyno tuning is HIGHLY recommended for all LS engine swaps. We can tune your PCM using the HP Tuners system for:
• Speedometer Calibration
• Rev Limit alteration
• EVAP, rear o2s and tank purge valve removal
• VAT (vehicle anti-theft system) removal
• Switch between Auto transmission and Manual transmission
• Alter fan ON and OFF temperature settings
• VIN changes
• Change or delete functions and trouble codes for A/C, Oil level, etc.
