Billet S3 Camshaft set for Subaru EJ257 Dual AVCS
These cams are built to suite the high horsepower drag Subys. With a power range of 750-1000WHP and a rev range of 4500-9500rpms, you need some certain mods to utilize the true potential of the S3s. Built motor, with a built/ported head (clearanced for lift), and a standalone engine management system. Upgraded valve springs are required; Beehive valve springs are recommended but not required.
Intake 282 / 240 @ .040" / Peak Lift 11.3mm / Centerline AVCS
Exhaust 282 / 240 @ .040" / Peak Lift 11.3mm / Centerline 113
- Check Pictures for cam placement. Long nose= Left Side, short nose - Right Side.
- Due to the lobe size, head castings will need to be filled down slightly for clearance.
- Proper break in and running high zinc oil is a must on flat tappet engines.
- Must be installed by an experienced technician
- Requires upgraded valve springs
- Check AVCS advance during install-Must be done by experienced engine builder
