Recommended for sports turbines to fully-tuned cars, this intercooler demonstrates high efficiency cooling.
Product Features
- Focusing on efficient cooling, with minimal charge pressure loss, this product supports high-power and high-boost cars.
- The side tanks and aluminum piping of the SPEC-R HG are buffed to a mirror finish, whilst the SPEC-R has a barrel polished finish. Also, the core is treated with a CCP coating, improving its corrosion resistance.
- The SPEC-R uses offset inner fins for high-power and high-boost
- Pressure loss and cooling efficiency has been optimized, making this product good for high performance high-boost tunes.

The GReddy Type-23 upgraded, front-mounted Intercooler kit for the Toyota (JZA80) Turbo Supra features our renown, lightweight, tube and fin, 3row air to air core, that measures H302xL600xW100mm. The core is capped off with polished, application-specific cast-aluminum end-tank and the kit includes mounting hardware, classic blue GReddy silicone hoses and mandrel-bent aluminum piping (along with a especially casted charge pipe for the JZA80 chassis.) This inclusive kit also includes a modified power-steering cooler pipe and a replacement radiator overflow tank.
GReddy Type-F cores feature a high heat-dissipating "off-set, inner-fin" technology. They are recommended for medium to high boost levels on higher horsepower or upgraded turbo engines. The larger internal surface area provides a superior cooling efficiency for radiating excessive heat and minimizing heat soak. The GReddy Type-F intercooler is a light-weight tube and fin design.
Some Spec R kits are labeled "HG" or High Grade; these kits feature piping and end-tanks that have been hand-polish to a mirror finish for the ultimate in aesthetic quality.
