The Transmission oil pan is a critical part of the Transmission. It acts as a holding tank for Transmission oil which is the life blood for every Transmission. No Transmission can survive without oil. Transmission oil pans can become damaged from road debris, corrosion, or bolt/drain plug over tightening.
