These shims utilize the exact material used by many OEM's to absorb vibration and dampen noise. These shims have a highly slippery face and a peel-off self adhesive film on back to help hold the shim in place during installation and use. These can be a great help in providing noise free braking. NOT intended to quiet down race pads driven on the street!
