An essential component in the diesel electronic control system, the glow plug control module interfaces with the vehicleâ¬"s powertrain control module to energize the glow plugs to assist with cold engine start-up. Failure can result in hard-starting and/or illumination of the engine malfunction indicator or check engine lamp.
