A valve used to recirculate small amounts of exhaust back into the combustion chambers of the engine in order to decrease the combustion temperature, thereby reducing the formation of smog-producing nitrogen oxides. (522-022) by GB
An essential part of the emissions system, the EGR valve recirculates exhaust gases to be reburned which reduces combustion temperatures resulting in a reduction of oxides of nitrogen emissions. Failure of this component can result in check engine light and increased emissions. This cost-effective replacement EGR valve is remanufactured to meet or exceed OE performance specifications.
Includes gasket to ensure proper sealing between EGR valve and intake manifold.
