Gates K040274RB Racing V-Ribbed Belt

Gates timing belts are designed to be used in high performance and racing engines.  The construction of the belts has be made to handle the increased stresses that an engine will see during racing.  Gates Racing Timing Belts are 300% stronger than stock belts and up to three times the heat resistance.

  • Wear Resistant Teeth.  High saturation HNBR elastomeric composites contribute to the exceptional durability and heat resistance with aramid reinforcement.
  • Reinforced Tooth Jacket.  Durable nylon fiber provides extra wear resistance, doubling tooth strength.
  • Stronger Tensile Cord.  Added strength comes from premium, high-strength glass cords.
