Flexalite Zinc Anode

For years Anodes have been used in Heavy Duty and Marine applications to protect the cooling systems and its many aluminum components from damage due to electrolysis or coolant additive failure/breakdown.
Flex-a-lite now brings this protection to passenger-vehicles. Today's cars and trucks have many aluminum parts and parts made in combination with aluminum alloy. Aluminum parts can corrode and be damaged by electrolysis in the cooling system. The Flex-a-lite Zinc Anode is sacrificial, and will be attacked and eroded before any aluminum parts in the cooling system.The Flex-a-lite Zinc Anode is easy to install. It has ¼-inch NPT threads and simply installs in place of the radiator drain petcock in most applications.
