These sensors, by monitoring intake manifold vacuum, measure the amount of load being placed on the engine. The MAP sensors relay engine load output to the ECU, which in turn adjusts fueling for optimum performance and economy.
This adapter converts metripack LS style MAP sensor to a weatherpack connector to adapt to older harnesses like GM Tpi.
