The bung repair kit mounts the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor to the vehicle's exhaust manifold or downpipe. Our bung repair kit is constructed of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and to withstand high-temperature extremes of the exhaust system. The Dorman OE FIX EGT Sensor Bung Repair Kit allows you to replace the rusted original bung, without the expense and hassle of replacing the exhaust pipe. Plus, this replacement bung includes a plate for welding in case the pipe is destroyed during removal.
