Exedy Racing Compe Series Clutch Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV 1996-2002

Compe-D and Compe-R are the new generation of clutch systems by EXEDY. The revolutionary system is developed to achieve the ultimate goal of comfort and ease of operation. It is purpose built to absorb the noise and vibration emanating from the drivetrain components such as differential gear, transmission and engine. The Compe-D system is designed to protect the drivetrain by absorbing and dissipating ?shock torque ? and is especially effective in vehicles fitted with 6 speed transmissions. Superior engineering enables the Compe-D clutch system to possess an ideal clutch engagement position, increased clamp loads and lower pedal effort, while the unique friction material allows comfortable half-engaged clutch operation and responsive gear changes. The Compe-R system is designed to be the lightest system possible and is especially effective in Gymkhana and other Road Racing scenarios. Superior engineering and undampened discs enable the Compe-R clutch system to keep inertia low, improves shift response and reduces power loss.
