Doug’s Headers D381 is a pair of long-tube, side-mount headers for a big-block Chevy Corvette installation. The steel headers have a silver metallic ceramic coating, 2-1/8-inch primary tubes and 4-inch slip-fit collectors.
Side pipes and mufflers are required separately. The D381 instructions specify Doug’s D930-series side pipes and D950, D951 or D952 muffler inserts. This package contains the left and right headers, two header gaskets, header bolts and lock washers.
Installation requirements
The current D381 installation manual covers 1965-1982 Corvette big-block applications. It requires rocker-panel modification and test fitting before trimming; air-conditioned cars may also require A/C bracket modification. Review the instructions for your vehicle and engine combination.
