DC Sports 4-2-1 Header for 92-00 Honda Civic / Del Sol – Stainless & Ceramic
If you’re still choking your D-series with the stock manifold, you’re leaving power on the table. The DC Sports Civic Header for 1992-1995 Civic and 1996-2000 Civic EX (plus Honda Del Sol) frees up flow, adds usable power, and cleans up the engine bay. This DC Sports 4-2-1 Header Civic setup uses equal-length primaries and smooth mandrel bends to keep exhaust-gas velocity up, so you pick up torque down low and horsepower up top. You can run it as a Stainless Header (SKU: HHS5513) or step up to a Ceramics Header (SKU: HHC5513) if you want better heat control.
The Honda Civic 1.6L Header is built from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless, so you can daily the car in rain, snow, and road salt without the thing turning into a rust sculpture. The 4-2-1 layout and runner lengths work great for a street/autocross car that needs midrange, not just a dyno number at 7,500 rpm. We run this same DC Sports Civic Header on our own D-series cars because it hits that balance between drivability and top-end pull.

Both versions share the same flow path; the difference is heat control and appearance. The DC Sports Ceramic Header uses a high-temp ceramic coating rated to 1,200°F to hold more heat in the tubes. That helps exhaust move faster, keeps bay temps down, and stabilizes intake air temps on long pulls or hot days. If you’re road racing, tracking, or you live somewhere that cooks in summer, you’ll notice the difference.
The raw DC Sports Stainless Header still handles abuse and resists corrosion, it just won’t control radiant heat as well as the coated version. On the flip side, if you like the look of brushed stainless and don’t mind a bit more under-hood heat, stainless is the straightforward choice. Either way, you’re getting a legit 92-00 Civic Performance Header that’ll outlast the car if you don’t stuff it into a wall.
