The Dayco ® Belt Diagnostic Kit has all the tools needed to properly identify misaligned belts, worn belts; and, to check belt tension. This kit contains a two-piece laser alignment tool designed to identify any axial or angular misalignment in the belt drive system. It has a tension gauge to check for proper belt tension. Proper belt tension prevents slippage, squealing, heat build-up, and premature belt failure. Also included is the Dayco ® aWearness belt tension gauge, designed to determine belt wear and to identify when belt replacement is required.
