The Continental Flex Fuel Sensor is mounted in the fuel line between the fuel tank and injectors. Its output signal is fed to the engine control unit. Injection rate and ignition timing are adjusted according to the actual percentage of alcohol. Continental Flex Fuel Sensors are a genuine OEM part as supplied to the vehicle manufacturer.
