Using the tightest tolerances in the industry, COMP Cams manufactures Solid/Mechanical Lifters to exact specifications. The lifters utilize an oil metering band that has been milled to an exact correct depth to prevent excess oil from being delivered to the top of the engine. Solid/Mechanical from COMP Cams also feature a crown that has been ground to a precise radius for proper break-in and a guaranteed longer life.
