Original shipping is non-refundable. For orders shipped free, the actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Return shipping is prepaid by the customer.

BluePrint Engines BP454CTC is a 454-cubic-inch GM big-block-compatible Cruiser crate engine with a base-dressed, carbureted configuration. Manufacturer rating: 460 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.
Engine and included equipment
- Cast-iron four-bolt-main block, aluminum cylinder heads and hydraulic roller camshaft
- 9.85:1 compression; manufacturer recommends 91+ octane fuel
- Holley 750-cfm carburetor with vacuum secondaries and manual choke
- Ready-run distributor, dual-plane aluminum intake and harmonic balancer
- Valve covers, dipstick, timing cover, oil pump and oil pan
Check before ordering
Spark plugs and the flywheel or flexplate are sold separately. This engine uses external balancing at the front and rear and requires a weighted Gen V flywheel or flexplate with 42.5-oz imbalance. Cylinder-head exhaust ports sit 0.300 inch above the OEM location; verify header and exhaust clearance for your installation.
