Installation Guide

Installation is straightforward and can be completed in under 30 minutes with basic hand tools:

  1. Locate the factory boost solenoid near the turbocharger on FA engines
  2. It's accessible from the top of the engine bay
  3. May require removal of intake for easier access
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector by pressing the tab and pulling gently
  5. Disconnect the vacuum lines, taking note of their orientation
  6. Remove the mounting bolt(s) securing the solenoid
  7. Install the new solenoid in the reverse order
  8. Ensure vacuum lines are reconnected in the correct orientation
  9. Secure the mounting bolt(s) to factory torque specifications
  10. Reconnect the electrical connector until it clicks

Pro Tip: While no ECU reflash is required for stock applications, we recommend pairing with an aftermarket boost controller for modified setups to take full advantage of the enhanced performance capabilities.
