MR-3856 is an OES front magnetic strut for the 2008-2015 Audi TT and the 2011 TTS (8J). This universal strut fits both the right and the left side of the Audi TT/TTS. The magnetically controlled strut from Arnott provides the same highly adaptive ride as the OE. The monotube damper is filled with magnetorheological fluid which is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil that contains easily magnetized iron particles. The two electromagnetic coils inside the damper instantly change the bonds between the magnetized iron particles altering the viscosity and stiffness of the suspension when turned on. Arnott's new universal magnetic ride Audi front strut fits the left or right side and connects to the vehicles ECU with no modifications.
