Diftech Bushing Subframe Solid FD Legal Fits Nissan 240sx S13 / S14SKU. 00QRK Part No. 10038 4 reviews
Solid Aluminum Bushing
Formula Drift Legal
Set comes with 8 Pieces
These 240sx Rear Subframe Bushings completely replace the old rubber bushings in your subframe. In addition, they are now machined to be Formula D legal, compliant with height specifications that don't allow raising of the subframe.
Stock rubber bushing allow a nice quiet ride on the highway, but they also allow a lot of flex induced by suspension side loads and torque effects from the drive train, and problems only get worse as these cars get older. This means movement at the hard points of your rear suspension, and upsetting of the engineered suspension geometry. By reducing compliance at the suspension hard points and letting the suspension arms do their job from fixed point, the rear end will feel much more predictable and linear. This will drastically improve driveability as well as your confidence in the back end of your competitive S-Chassis.
Comes as a set 8 and anodized in black.

bushings are excellent, Although we must clarify that, at least in the s13 subframe, you will need to remove the metal sleeve inserts from the stock bushings, cut a little enough from the top, and tap it out with a flat screwdriver. Bought this set just to test quality but I'm ordering another set for my other s13.

Easy to install, just a little tap with a rubber hammer and it's done. Much firmer than with the original rubber brushing and a lot more diff noises to destroy the quiet harmony :D

These are definitely good quality items however i was a little unhappy with the machining for the lower bushing portion. They fit in the subframe fine however when you bolt the subframe cup washers back in, the top of the washer never contacts the DIF bushing and relies on the outter portion of the subframe cup washers outter edges to hold everything in place. You notice this when torquing to factory specs you end up stretching the metal on the cup washers before you get to the proper torque spec. Either way they are good quality. Just wish they would have machined less material out of that center section, maybe they did not measure that part or intended people to use regular flat washers instead?

Very good solid bushings. Fit perfectly tight, and the black coating held up even after hammering them in place.
